The VOK team integrates this analysis into the initial project evaluation. We examine your requirements for volume, timeline, and budget to recommend the optimal manufacturing strategy.

Our 6-Step Injection Molding Process:

  1. ESI & Quote: We start with expert advice and a transparent quote.
  2. Order & Plan: The project kicks off with order confirmation and mold planning.
  3. Mold Build: We design, procure, and manufacture the precision mold.
  4. Trial Run: First samples are produced for evaluation.
  5. Sample Approval (Key Milestone): You test and approve the samples.
  6. Mass Production: We ramp up to full-scale production upon your approval.

Process: Two-Shot Injection Molding

Materials Used: Black ABS (structural) + Clear PC (optical)

Solution: A sophisticated molding technique that overcomes the limitations of single-material designs and secondary assembly. It enables the seamless integration of two distinct polymers—such as the toughness of ABS and the clarity of PC—into a single, high-value component within one production cycle.

Applications:

Automotive: Dashboard indicators, combining a durable ABS base with a clear PC lens.
Consumer Electronics: Device housings, featuring a colored ABS body and a transparent PC window.

This process molds flame-retardant ABS plastic around brass inserts, creating integrated components with combined benefits:

  • Brass inserts provide strong threads & excellent conductivity
  • FR ABS plastic ensures flame resistance & electrical insulation
  • One-step molding eliminates assembly and enhances durability

Typical Applications:

  •  Electrical connectors & enclosures
  • Industrial controls & safety housings
  • Devices requiring secure fastening and fire protection This method is ideal for functional parts needing metal’s strength with plastic’s safety and design flexibility.
